Cinnamon Roll Cookies Recipe

Cookies that are reminiscent of a traditional cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing are irresistible, and these cinnamon roll cookies are no exception.

– 1 cup butter, softened – 2/3 cup white sugar – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1 large egg – 1 tablespoon vanilla – 2 cups all purpose flour – 1 large egg, lightly beaten – 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar – 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon or apple pie spice – 2 ounces cream cheese, softened – 1 tablespoon butter, softened – 3/4 cup confectioners sugar – 2 to 3 tablespoons heavy cream

Collect ingredients. A stand mixer with a paddle attachment beat 1 cup butter in a large basin for 30 seconds on medium-high.
