Easy-to-make oatmeal porridge is a delicious breakfast. And customization is great! Use quick cooking or rolled oats and water, milk, or a mix of both. My favorite no-fail Oats Porridge recipe with photos is here.
Ingredient
– ½ cup quick cooking oats or rolled oat– 1 cup water or add as required– ½ cup milk or water– 2 tablespoons raw sugar or white sugar
Direction
1

Simply adjust the consistency to your liking. Recipe thickens slightly. Add milk or water to thin.
2
Sugar is unnecessary if fruits are added later. Honey becomes toxic when heated, so add it when the porridge is lukewarm or room temperature.

Let the porridge simmer and stir often.
4

Turn off the heat when the oats are soft and the desired consistency.
7
Serve Oats Porridge hot, warm, or room temperature.
Oatmeal porridge thickens as it cools if served at room temperature.

Add chopped fruits or berries when the porridge is lukewarm or cold. Add chopped nuts or dried fruits of your choice.
