Marinated Mozzarella Balls Recipe

These Marinated Mozzarella Balls are a delicious party appetizer that can be made in many ways and customized to your guests' tastes!

INGREDIENTS

━━━━━━━━━━━━

– ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil – 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced – 3 Tbsp chopped parsley – 1 Tbsp chopped basil – 1 Tbsp chopped thyme – ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (more if you like spice) – ¼ tsp salt – ¼ tsp pepper – 8 oz. mozzarella ball

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Mix olive oil, garlic, herbs, and spices in a large bowl. Stir in drained mozzarella balls. 

Step 2

Store in bowl or jar. Serve mozzarella after marinating at room temperature for an hour.

Step 3

━━━━━━━━━━━

Store in fridge if making ahead more than an hour. Remove from fridge 20 minutes before serving and stir mozzarella balls because olive oil will solidify.

Step 4

In an airtight container in the fridge, marinated mozzarella balls should last a week.
