Chocolate peanut butter protein bars are scrumptious and easy to make in small batches. Protein powder must be good. Eating one may be difficult.


– 3/4 cup peanut butter – 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder – 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/8 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chip – 1 teaspoon coconut oil

To remove bars easily, line an 8 1/2x4 1/2-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on all edges. Set aside.

Mix peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt in a dish and press into the pan. Set aside.

Add oil and chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave stir after 30 seconds. Repeat till chips melt. Pour smooth chocolate bars. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut 8 bars.
