Students most recent credits Becca Gardener , who plays the daughter of Jennifer Lopez, in the feature Unfinished Life directed by Lasse Hollstrom. This is Becca's first major film and her first lead role in a film. This film also stars Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman, Josh Lucas, and Cameron Manhem. Look for the film in theatres in December 2004. Becca recently won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the independent film Whatever Happened to Alice, which was screened at the New York Film Festival. Becca also played the lead in Mr. Bundy, a dramatic play about a sex offender and Megan's Law in Reno, Nevada at the McKinley Art Center. Last December she played one of Cratchet's daughters in the musical Scrooge at Harrahs in Lake Tahoe. Devon Alan played the lead role of Tim in the film Undertow directed by David Gorden Green(United Artists). This film also stars Jamie Bell, Josh Lucas, and McDermott Mulroney. This film was screened at the Toronto Film Festival and the New York Film Festival. Devon just booked a guest star role on Blind Justice. He will be playing Ethan on the episode "Leap of Faith". He also went to St. Petersburg, Russia and played the lead role of Nikita opposite Anne Archer in Wanted directed by Nicolai Lebedev. Last year Nicholai received a special directors award, which was presented to him by the Russian President Putin. Devon also shot the lead role in It's Better To Be Wanted Than Not To Be Wanted At All for Fox Searchlight Pictures directed by Marcel Sarmiento. Heather Kafka for her most recent Guest Starring role on ER and CSI. She has roles in two films coming out in 2005: A Scanner Darkly directed by Richard Linkalter and a new comedy directed by Mike Judge. She is now represented by Framework Entertainment. Brittany Lane Stewart shot a lead role in the independent short film Fake Stacy directed by John Chuldeko, which was screened at Sundance this past January. She also was the narrator. She did a voice over for the independent film, Straight Into Darkness. She filmed a lead role in the Tv Pilot, Malibu Bar, and she booked a supporting role on a new sketch comedy pilot. She booked her first national commericial for Fanny Mae as well as a MTV promo for a new series. She is now represented by AKA Talent Agency and Mattie Management. Anjulia Beck is now represented by Allure Modeling and Talent Agency. Jah Shams was selected as one of 51 actors from 300 who auditioned for Robert Townsend for a new upcoming television pilot for the Black Family Channel. Jessica Lyn Johnson for booking a role on Mrs. Harris, a film starring Annette Being and Ben Kingsley. Jessica also filmed the role of Alexa in the short film For Richer or Poorer produced by Michael Upton. Sam Puliaficano played a principle role in the Time Warner Cable commericial, which was shot in May. Pete Punito booked the lead role of Chad in the sag short film Cold Feet as well as the principle role of Gil in the Sag feature Broccoli. Joy Lauren for being cast in a series regular role in the new fall series Desperate Housewives. Sara Paxton for her lead role in the summer film Sleepover. Tanja Maduzia's beautiful smile can be currently seen on a print ad for AMC in Century City. In the past few months she has shot a lead role on a sag feature and a featured role in another Sad feature. Loren Brock shot a principle role as the Game Hostess in Bjovk's new music video. She also shot the role of Hostess in her first feature Unstoppable Harold Douglas Johnsonhas been busy this year performing lead roles in several plays in New York; Orpheus Descending at the Creative Place Theatre, The Three Sisters at the Theatre-Studio Inc., and the role of Commissioner in Lysistrata at the Impact Theatre in Brooklyn. The company also took this production to Mainz, Germany this past May. He appeared as Jackie in a staged reading of The Petrified Forest. The performance was produced as part of Love Creek Productions' Modern American Classics wing. He played the Duke of Austria in Shakespeare's King John at the Sargent Theatre. Douglas is currently working on a one man show where he will play Winston Churchill in Churchill. Sara Graverock played the lead role of Beth in the short film IF. She booked a supprting role on the short film A Beautiful Thing. LaLaine has been very busy this yeat with many live appearances. She just released her first CD, INSIDE STORY. Jessica Connelly who booked the lead role of Claire in the sag feature Claire. Natalie Villamonte shot the lead role of Gloria in the short film Loss of Innocence. Jessica Celious played the role of the Cheshire Cat in the new campy musical Alice in Wonderland at Two Roads Theatre. She also played a lead role in the independent short film Jamaican Gypsy. She recently did voiceovers for the BBC and Capital One in London. You can hear her beautiful singing voice on several of Mattel's Barbie commericals. Sean Smith did a magnificent job with his portrayal of a gang member in the 200th episode of ER. He played the same character in three different scenarios. He also just shot the guest role of Owen on Strong Medicine. Sara Paxton for winning the Young Artist Award for her dramatic role in CSI in 2003 Yasmine Harvey played the lead role of Jada in Inhibitions at the James Armstrong Theatre in Torrance. Merris Carden played the role of Young Nora in the film Cheaper By The Dozen as well as the role of Veronica in 13 to 30. Ellery Carden did a PSA for Drug Free America. Rainey Carden played the role of Kate in a staged reading version of Mermaids. Brady Edwards has a Kentucky Fried Chicken commerical running with Jason Alexander. He was one of 50 finalist out of 10,000 kids chosen to compete for a spot on the Nickelodeon show All That. Niki Koss played the lead role of the daughter in the short film, The Pearl, directed by Will Wallace. She just signed across the board with Buchwald Talent Group. Anastasia Baranova who is in Africa filming 13 episodes of "SCOUTS SAFARI" for the Discovery Channel. The first episode airs Saturday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m. Sara Paxton for landing a re-curring role on the new series "GREETINGS FROM TUSCON". Nicole Sarah Fellows for booking a role on "AMERICAN DREAMS" and "BOSTON PUBLIC". Brad Hinely for shooting a re-curring role on GENERAL HOSPITAL. Sam Puliafico for booking an international COKE commericial and booking a voice-over for the feature, TEDDY BEAR SYNDROME". Joy Lauren whose two "THE DIVISION" episodes aired August 4 and 11. David Heavener who wrote,directed, and starred in "ANGEL BLADE" which won Best Thriller and Best Feature at the New York Film Festival. It will have a theatrical release in February. Lalaine who shot the lead role of Abby in the feature, "YOU WISH" in New Zealand this summer. She also sang the single YOU WISH on the soundtrack. Devon Alan who shot the lead supporting role of Max on Stephen King's "FIRESTARTERS: REKINDLED", the mini-series on the Sci Fi channel. He currently has a McDonalds' commercial running. Ashly Boss who was chosen for a MTV DOCUMENTARY, "Flipped" which is aired on MTV. Part of the project was shot at The Acting Place showcasing Ashly's dramatic skills during one of our private coaching sessions. You can also see her in Usher's anti-smoking PSA that will follow the documentary. Paul Kaitsen who booked a supporting role in the independent SAG film, "Off The Road", as well as shooting the lead role in the psychological thriller, 'THE SLEEP OF REASON" this summer in Ohio. Sabrina Weiner, shot the role of Esmeralda in the Disney feature, GOTTA KICK IT UP!" Sara Paxton who booked the lead in two pilots this year, Amber, Amber and The Generation Gap. In The Generation Gap, Sara played the granddaughter of Debbie Reynolds and had the added pleasure of getting to sing a song with her during the shooting of the episode. Sara also had a substantial part on the CSI episode "Burden of Proof". which aired again August 30. Danielle Weiner who also booked a supporting role in the pilot, Amber, Amber. L.Rolland who played a principal role on a Taco Bell industrial. MaryAnn Springer who shot the pilot: "Megabyte Man", which will air on Saturday mornings on TBN. Sam Puliafico who had a principal role on the Sag experimental short film "Rule of Thumb" and shot a Seattle Super Sonics.
